How points work
Every game is worth up to 1,000 points. Your daily total is the four games added together, up to 4,000. Scores are whole numbers.

| Edition Five | 1,000 | Fewer guesses score more. A first try is best, and each extra guess costs a bit less than the last. Miss it and you still get 25 points for each green in your best row. |
| Linked | 1,000 | No mistakes is best. Each mistake lowers your score. Use up all four mistakes and you get 75 points for each group you found. |
| Mini Crossword | 1,000 | Each time Check shows a wrong letter, you keep 90% of your score. Bigger, harder minis are worth more. |
| Path Trace | 1,000 | Each hint keeps 85% of your score (3 hints max). Bigger grids are worth more. |
Any game you finish is worth at least 350 points, however long it takes. Finishing always beats not finishing. Points shrink gently the longer you take, and a score never drops to zero. If you switch tabs for more than 30 seconds, the clock pauses until you come back. Ties go to the player with less total time.
