Joseph Richards '23

Joseph Richards ‘23 joined The Academy Edition in 2020 and has been an active member ever since. His first article was written at the conclusion of his freshman year, regarding the ways that sports have changed, professionally and at Germantown Academy, during the pandemic. Furthermore, he continued his writing throughout the following summer by writing about the relevance of music to cure loneliness caused by the coronavirus. Joseph’s goal for this school year is to lead effectively as a Sports Desk Editor, while simultaneously creating his own column in order to raise awareness for the veterans in need of support within our community. A fun fact about Joseph is that he has participated in over 10 different types of sports: soccer, basketball, baseball, football, golf, tennis, squash, surfing, crew, track, gymnastics, and horseback riding.
